In an oligopolistic market, with the advent of innovative new comers into the hospitality space, marketing and selling this impressive portfolio requires a dedicated team supported by active sales tools.
The Tsogo Sun sales team makes use of a desk calendar to showcase their portfolio. The team had used the same calendar design for three years and were in need of a fresh impression that would retain the target audience’s attention and convert leads to sales.
We redesigned the 44 page desk calendar in keeping with the Tsogo Sun brand guidelines.
They key was to achieve impact using the various Tsogo Sun Hotel brand logo colours and contrast them against a white backdrop The simple use of brand tones in block form complemented that logos and aligned with their brand promise to resonate with client expectations.
We allowed the photography to speak louder than words as silent brand ambassadors that impress long lasting visuals in the viewers’ mind and drive favourable purchasing inclination.
10 000 copies of the caledar are in print and are assisting TsogoSun Hotels sales teams worldwide.

We developed an 80 page, easy to read publication with the message: “Local Company, Global Reach” Articulating the fact that the global foot print benefits South Africa greatly through access to novell technology and expertise.
The publication was in-keeping with the company’s anchoring value of “Enhancing Society Together”.
With the use of infographics, we delivered a publication which show-cased RHDHV’s contribution to South Africa in GDP, life changing solutions, technology, skills development & transfer, radical transformation, CSI, reducing carbon footprint and other impactful highlights.
The publication is used externally by business development teams at trade shows and company presentations. Internally, the publication is used to educate staff and reinforce a culture of doing good to enhance society.
We support local artists by partnering with them to create bespoke cover images and illustrations for some of our publications,
SwaaV is a bespoke gents wear brand. The company has another 2 brands namely: Positive Power Socks and Magnificent You ties.
SwaaV appointed MaleshCon to help them organise their brands (Architecture) as well as to conduct a Market Segmentation Study to enable them to truly understand their clients and quantify their target market. Furthermore, they needed to carry out sales and marketing campaigns to further their reach and grow their client base.
We conducted descriptive, exploratory and quantitative research to glean insights into who SwaaV’s real clients are.
Furthermore, we developed a sales and marketing campaign that would resonate with this sophisticated market. This included developing a new communications brochure that is an easy read, flows well, is engaging and wins the hearts of the prospective consumers.
